The Hotel is a Superior 4-star graded hotel that offers an abundance of luxury, sights, sounds, and adventures. With the Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park’s Nyalazi Gate just 50 kilometres offering the Big 5 safari experience, and the surrounding wetlands, the lakes, lagoons, freshwater swamps and grasslands of St Lucia and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park support more species of animal than many of the better-known parks and deltas in Southern Africa.

There are 56 rooms of accommodation in total, all spacious and come standard with an air conditioning unit, a wall safe, tea and coffee station, TV with selected Open View Channels, and en-suite bathroom with shower. The 25 rooms on the ground floor each enjoy a private patio leading out onto the gardens and pool area.

The ground floor also hosts the reception, WiFi lounge, and the Hippo Steakhouse restaurant. With the 31 rooms on the first floor – 26 of them have a private balcony facing the estuary, with a further five rooms that offer a courtyard view.

There is a spacious lounge bar that leads out onto the hotel’s Estuary Viewing Deck – both offering Wi-Fi. The hotel offers these room types: King, Triple, Twin and Inter-leading Family-rooms.
